Pimple scar treatment

I have acne scarring too, and I have searched high and low for products that work- hope I can help!

My first bit of advice is get Mario Badescu’s Whitening Mask (sounds scary, I know)- this stuff has helped me TREMENDOUSLY. Seriously. Buy this. My skin is super sensitive, and I slept with this mask on every other night- just apply a thin layer after you cleanse your face and apply a moisturizer. This product really has worked wonders on my scars- Mario Badescu products have made such a difference in my skin, and they sell men’s products- perfect right?

As far as concealing- you obviously want something that won’t look like makeup, but will cover the scarring. If you have a few, large scars- I recommend a stick foundation (Benefit’s “Play Sticks” are great, well worth the money). If you have a bunch of scars all over (like I did. Ugh. Again, I will tell you that the Whitening Mask is the greatest thing EVER) then I recommend Physicians Formula Conceal Rx- you can get this at your local CVS, but it doesn’t come in many shades (I’m incredibly pale, and have found that Natural Light works well for my color, but also looks good on people slightly darker)- apply a small amount to the area you want to cover (about the circumference of the cap should be fine) with your ring finger and blend it in. My last recommendation is Ben Nye concealer (its theater makeup, heavy duty stuff. Will cover ANYTHING)- you can buy this from Ben Nye’s website. Again, I stress- apply with a light hand, you won’t need much, the formula is very opaque.
