Accutane (isotretinoin) is an OTC (over the counter) product used for treatment of severe acne problems. Isotretinoin is given as an oral medication, only prescribed by a dermatologist. Isotretinoin was first developed as chemotherapy medication for pancreatic and brain cancer and other.
